Radiology for Residents

CT Goals

The general goals are to enable the student to understand:

  • The normal anatomy on chest, abdominal and head CT
  • Abnormal structures visible on chest, abdominal and head CT
  • Pathology on Head (intracranial hemorrhage), Chest, and Abdomen CT requiring urgent care.
  • Discuss the role of CT in the evaluation of neurological, pulmonary and abdominal disease including tumor staging.
  • There will also be an introduction 3-D radiology including Cardiac CT and CT colonoscopy.
